Ready to start planning where to see fireworks this year? Make sure your bonfire night goes off with a bang, as we share the best places to watch the fireworks in East Renfrewshire.
The 5th November falls on a Monday this year, so you can kick off the fireworks fun even earlier! Get the whole family wrapped up in coats, scarves, hats and gloves and watch the magic unfold overhead, with dazzling displays at these top locations.

Gates open at 6.00pm (display due to start at 7.15 pm. Please arrive before 7.00 pm to avoid disappointment).
Paisley Rugby Club welcome you to their Annual Fireworks night which will be making a spectacular return on Friday 2nd of November.
Tickets are available on the night and are priced at £5 for Adults, £3 for children (note that under 10’s are FREE).
Gates will open at 1900 with Fireworks starting at 8.00pm.
Get set to relive all the classics at Paisley’s Fireworks Spectacular on Saturday 3 November; this year with a 90s theme. Activities will get underway in the town centre from 2pm with plenty on offer for kids and families.
Take a funfair ride at County Square (open 2pm – 8.15pm), play some iconic 90s arcade games, have your face painted or enjoy Paisley Town Hall’s Silent Disco. Capital FM presenters Fat Brestovca and Des Clarke will then take to the balcony of Paisley Town Hall for a 2 hour live DJ set packed with hits from 5pm before the spectacular fireworks display lights up the sky above the Abbey at 7pm.
However If the thought of Fireworks night fill you with dread this event at Whitelee Windfarm might be just the thing.
Grab a torch and bring your family pooch to the visitor centre entrance anytime between 6pm and midnight on each night. The rangers will be on patrol to prevent fireworks and create a quiet zone to walk your dog(s) in peace.
On the 5th there will also be a ranger led walk to enjoy too. Bring your torch as this is a drop-in event – NO BOOKING REQUIRED.
