The housing market in East Renfrewshire had a very strong year so far and we believe the pace will continue all throughout 2017. In many local ares, we have seen a shortage of property with demand outstripping supply, resulting in more closing dates and premium prices been achieved, and in some cases, the highest prices achieved in many years. With strong competition among property buyers who are keen to secure 2, 3, 4 or 5 bedroom properties in the area, East Renfrewshire has the highest average property price in Scotland at £242,003*, rising 6.4% in 2016 and the trend clearly continues well into this year. (read more)  What’s more, Barclay’s UK Property Indicator anticipates East Renfrewshire will see the biggest average price increase of any area in Scotland in the next five years, making it the only Scottish region to make it into the top 20 areas of highest growth across the UK.
