With the Autumn/ Winter season just on the doorstep, more of us will be seeking refuge in the warmth of our homes, the only down side to this? A lot more time to question and observe your current interior choices.
You begin questioning whether you’re on trend and find yourself asking the question what even is in at the moment?
Well we’re on hand to answer all those Autumn/ Winter interior design trends questions with this short and easy guide. Providing you with a quick reference point for the kinds of looks you could be bringing in to your home, based on this year’s latest trends.

Firstly, and not for the faint hearted, interior designers have been going bold with their colour choices in regards to the latter half of 2023. With the four most frequently used being Mustard, Green, Blue and Red.
A little retro inspired, mustard and emerald green have often been seen paired together at this year’s shows, whilst blue and red have been used in combination for an electrifying palette.
To avoid feeling overwhelmed you can dip your toe with these colours by subtly introducing them through accessories and furniture, however for full impact we do encourage you to get that paint brush out.

Next up is a statement rug – an obvious choice given the season, however for Autumn/ Winter 2023 things are getting layered and colourful.
We suggest having a look at the 3D designs within the Stig Lindberg x Layered collection for some inspiration.

Next up it’s chrome and brass metal finishes, which help to create depth in the room. Subtle yet effective.
Consider updating your lighting fixtures or go for some statement accessories and furniture pieces.

Then we’re on to playful shapes, home owners are encouraged to opt for curved and unusual shapes when buying furniture and accessories.
Things are starting to look a lot more organic and fun, think of it as a modern take on kitsch and quirky.

And finally, there is statement glassware. Coloured glass has received a boost and in particular there has been an increase in the want for glass vases amongst homeowners, particularly in opaque designs.
Head to your local retailers or go original and find some one of vintage treasures at your nearest charity shop, antiques centre or car boot sale.
